Doug Brand has been a Transformational Intuitive Facilitator (T.I.F.) for almost 30 years.

From 1976-1983 Doug was a student, staff member and facilitator for the James A. Takacs & Associates seminars and workshops. These seminars and workshops were intensive courses in life management skills including: Creating Loving Relationships, Communication, Intention Training, Creative Imagery, Self-Hypnosis, Rage Reduction/Anger Management, Dream Analysis, Developing the Alpha State (of Mind) as a Tool of Intension, Rebirthing, Acupressure, Massage. During this time, Doug facilitated many of the seminars and workshops. In fact, when Doug first became a staff member, Takacs created the “Call Doug” policy for the students. Takacs observed the talent Doug had to work with and relate to people and to articulate the teachings into practical everyday use.

In July 1983 Doug applied his life management skills to develop and build relationships in the financial services arena. He became a successful insurance and financial consultant.

In the late 1980’s he co-founded the Men’s Center of Los Angeles. Doug utilized his skills and vision to help develop programs to support men coming together in a spirit of cooperation as opposed to competition. His vision was to create a safe place for men to work on and to work through the myriad of issues they face in their everyday lives.

In 1990 Doug joined an insurance marketing firm where he soon became Senior Vice President. In 1996 he co-founded Medivest Benefit Advisors, Inc., a sister company to the insurance marketing firm. This company manages and administers medical claims for injured people settling injury lawsuits. The company is an advocate for the injured (post-settlement), getting them discounts for all their medical goods and services. Today Doug is the CEO of that company.

Doug earned his Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation from the University of Notre Dame in September of 2000.  He is currently a board member of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA).

Doug attributes the success in his personal life and the success for over 26 years in his business life to his training that led to his expertise in developing loving relationships, effective communication, and creating his life with conscious, focused, loving intent.

Doug lives in Wood Ranch,  CA with his lovely wife Beth Fortman-Brand
